About two months ago when I bought this, I was new to the idea of cooking up rice and just wanted something simple. I found this Zojirushi rice cooker and couldn’t be happier with it. The manual provides instructions for cooking different kinds of rice and even some kinds of cake. For what I wanted – cooking white rice – it’s nice and simple: Load the cooking bowl with the measured amount of rice (optionally rinsed as recommended), fill with water to the corresponding marking, put in the cooker and press cook. About an hour later, the rice is ready and in a keep-warm mode. I would recommend this rice cooker to anyone.
